How Fly RC Helicopter

How Fly RC Helicopter  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/How-Fly-RC-Helicopter/4397254/,
Article by Prasad Rane
The very first thing that a novice pilot needs to learn is how to balance the RC helicopter when hovering just off the ground. How to keep your RC helicopter into position float is the most important basic skills you need to learn. It is very foolish to attempt any other maneuver until you know how to keep the helicopter balanced, and so today's lesson will instruct you on how to do just that. This may be familiar with the controls obviously works, but it really need to repeat. Read up in the instruction manual and play with the controls a little, so you know exactly what each lever and button does before you attempt to fly your RC helicopter. If you do not, control is far too easy for your helicopter to fly off and crash into the nearest tree or dog walker angry because the power boost for the first time.
Lift off
Once you understand how the controls work, you are ready to begin flying your chopper.
Note that it is wise to proceed very slowly: first, the RC helicopter brought to a safe distance from you, about 6 or 7 feet away, and make sure that the tail of the helicopter points for you and the nose points away You.
Slowly bring the RC helicopter up to speed.
This means that it will be necessary for the stability of the country, while the slow increase in the speed of the rotors is up to the chopper almost ready for launch - but not now just trying to take off that balance (which can be kept very difficult so take your time).
Once you are confident enough, it's time to begin the takeoff procedure and get yourself airborne - Slowly! Using the throttle control (or collective), give the Indoor RC Helicopter a very slight boost in power and slowly ease it into the air. When you arrive at a height of about one foot, release the throttle a touch. The idea is to keep the chopper hovering in the air in the same place - If it keeps rising then you are applying too much throttle; if it starts to descend then you are not applying enough. It takes time to get it right, but to focus on and you soon be able to keep your RC helicopter in exactly the same place.
The second important thing is landing safely. To do this, the gas very slowly, so that birds gradually moved back to the ground. Don't release too quickly, or your chopper will smash into the floor, leaving you with a very expensive pile of wreckage!

Tips On Flying RC Helicopters And Planes

Tips On Flying RC Helicopters And Planes   , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Tips-On-Flying-RC-Helicopters-And-Planes/881538/,
Article by Victor Epand
As compared to flying planes, helicopters require a higher skill level. So, it is better to learn to fly RC planes first, so that you at least get an idea, of how to handle it in the air. If you are a fresher, then join a good flying club or get an experienced model plane 'pilot' to help you out. Once you have mastered the basics of flying planes, then you can try some stunts, such as inverted flying, rolls or loops. Your first plane should ideally be a 'trainer'. These are planes with big fuselage and wide wings. These planes are slower, steadier and therefore more suited for learners.
Once you have gained complete control over your Remote Control and your plane, then you can think about moving on to faster planes, such as fighter or jet planes. These planes are extremely fast and require very fast reflexes, to keep them in control. Do not forget to take out insurance on any model plane or helicopter you fly, or be ready to be sued, in case of any accident, where there is damage to someone's 'limb' or 'property'. An electric motor or a gasoline engine can be used, to power your model airplane or helicopter. Use electric power, if you are a fresher. It's clean, efficient and easy to maintain. However, keep extra battery packs ready, because you will need them, while flying.
Since the dynamics of a model helicopter are totally different than that of a plane, get expert help, before trying to fly them. You can also practice on a simulator, before attempting an actual flight. Helicopters can take off from a small pad, but model planes require a longer area, to take off and touch down. The chances of a helicopter suffering more damage than a plane, in case of a crash are more, since the blades of the helicopter are quite large.
The stunts, which can be performed by your helicopter, are also different as compared to your plane. One thing your helicopter can do is to 'hover' over the ground and that is what your plane cannot do. You can buy your plane or helicopter from various hobby shops or over the Internet as a RTF kit, i.e. a Ready to Fly Kit, which means that it is fully assembled, or you could buy it in ARF form, i.e. Almost Ready To Fly kit. This kit just has to be assembled and then it is ready to fly. You can think about making your own plane or helicopter from scratch, once you have some experience under your belt. Your models can be made of wood or plastic and you can hand paint them, once you have made them.
These above tips can be helpful, if you are just starting off in the flying arena. Use them to make your flying 'career' safer and easier.

The Joy of Flying RC Helicopters

The Joy of Flying RC Helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/The-Joy-of-Flying-RC-Helicopters/5150962/,
Article by Brian Chung
Seeing a kid get a flying toy for his or her birthday is delightful. Your son or daughter might want one the moment he or she sees it flying. Indeed, remote control helicopters are an ideal gift for youngsters. These are fancy looking toys that can go straight up and might break into pieces if fallen down.
Learning how to move it up and how to lower it gently takes some time and practice. People who have made flying their hobby can attest to this. The most difficult part of all is learning how to maneuver it. It will take you almost an hour to master it. And it will take three more hours to feel that you had enough for the day.
Apparently, these types of helicopters are a bit difficult to control, but once you get the hang of it, there's nothing like it! After flying one you too will feel the difference. Flying one is an experience. It can well become your hobby. A quite enjoyable one at that!
You can try flying a miniature chopper. The want to own one would even make you surf the net for information on different types of helicopters. In just a few weeks you will gain enough information about different models available and their capabilities. Soon enough, you will discover the joy of flying these remote control helicopters. You can even find a quality time with your kids and friends to fly these toys anytime of the day.
These helicopters are not just a toy. (Well, it may be for kids). They are used today for getting information from difficult-to-reach places, rescue missions and even spying. Even though made as a toy machine these remote control helicopters are made from very durable materials to withstand crashes. The remote controller may have several sets of controls giving you full control of the chopper. Advanced features give the chopper more stability. Modern ones are made from latest lightweight materials so that you can fly for a longer time per battery charge/change.
Understanding the fun of flying remote control helicopters is the first thing. The next part is selecting the right model. There is a wide range from small toys to ones that can fly like the real choppers. You can select the one which suits your taste and your budget. Decide where you want to fly it (indoor/outdoor/large open area) provided you have access to such a place. Select an appropriately sized chopper. Also look for the manual, type of battery, battery life and number of controls (some high-end models offer rudder, aileron, elevator, pitch and throttle control in addition to forward/backward, up/down and left/right controls).
Owning remote control helicopters is a prestige, almost like owning a Mercedes in last century. Sure, they are bit on the expensive side (not as much as they used to be), but having one is well worth it! Fly it and see how others flock to watch it flying. Enjoy the amazement in their faces. Go ahead! Buy one! Enjoy hours and hours flying it!

Do you worry about the noise pollution by Rc Helicopters

Do you worry about the noise pollution by Rc Helicopters?  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Do-you-worry-about-the-noise-pollution-by-Rc-Helicopters/2598357/,
Article by Sam Lin
If you are fond of Rc Helicopters then you should not bother much about the noise because the modern version of electric rc helicopters, gas rc helicopters and nitro rc helicopters are equipped with best quality engine that are considered as low emitters of sound. There are thousands of people who feel that flying rc helicopters is always considered as one of the best alternatives if you have to fulfill all your passion of flying real helicopter. You have to keep in mind that these forms of gas rc helicopters and nitro rc helicopters are less expensive and safe when flying. So if you are passionate about helicopters, then flying rc helicopters is always one of the best hobbies for anyone.
When selecting the right rc helicopters it is important that you choose the one that has substantial parts. As you can never be sure of any crashes, so it is important that if you have purchase rc helicopters like gas rc helicopters, electric rc helicopters or even nitro rc helicopters, then you also need to purchase the parts that can get damaged when flying. There are wide variations of models available in the local market, and so it is advisable that if you are purchasing it for the first time then make sure that you purchase plastic rc helicopters as these types don't get damaged easily when having minor crashes.
In the present market you also get a number of such gas rc helicopters, electric rc helicopters and nitro rc helicopters that have a wooden body that is light weight. So even if you are not flying rc helicopters in a safe place, still there are a number of benefits that you can enjoy with these models. Following simple guidelines, you can always enjoy flying them at any open park or school ground. But that certainly does not mean that you need not take any precautions with these rc helicopters as there are a number of models of electric rc helicopters, gas rc helicopters and nitro rc helicopters that has the power to reach top speeds of around 80 mph reaching at an altitudes of around 10,000 feet.
As these rc helicopters make use of a mixture of nitro methane and alcohol, so you can always ensure that they are pretty safe and may not produce much noise pollution. Moreover when purchasing gas rc helicopters, you have to keep in mind that these types may be bit heavier in weight and the outcome might also be less as compared to electric or nitro powered rc helicopters. Gas rc helicopters also cost more expensive as compared to other variations. There are also a number of models that are so small and light weight that you might never have to purchase any spare parts for a longer period of time. These models are also less expensive so you just don't have to make huge investments. When flying one of these mean machines, you also have to practice for a few rounds before being a professional flyer as you need to be friendly with all controls.

Three important facts to know about RC helicopters

Three important facts to know about RC helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Three-important-facts-to-know-about-RC-helicopters/4902651/,

Article by Kevin Miller

Three Key Points of RC Helicopters

When you first receive your RC helicopter, Im sure that you want to take it out the box and immediately start flying your RC that very second. This is understandable, but you first should go over these three basic key parts first. The first part is that you should practice flying your RC with a flight simulator before you fly the real one . Next doing a pre-flight check of your new RC helicopter . Last you should know proper storage of your new RC, so that it will last you for a long time and give you hours upon hours of fun in this wonderful and addicting hobby of RC helicopters.

It is always said that practice makes perfect. This statement is very true when it comes to fly RC helicopter. There is a great skill involved with flying RCs, so it is suggested that you get a flight simulator and practice digitally first before you fly the real RC helicopter. Once you are done training with the simulator you may also want to add training gears to your helicopter. RC landing gears are a piece of metal that attaches to the bottom of your helicopter with four legs and ping pong type balls at the end to help with your landing performances. Whether you land a bit hard, or a bit sideways or awkward the landing gears will help stabilize your landing and make you land perfectly on the ground, helping you from damaging your RC, and helping with your landing. You should practice with the landing gear and become very comfortable landing before you take off the landing gears, to avoid unwanted damage and costly repairs. Practice makes perfect remember that.

Once you have received your RC toy your going to want to fly it right away, but hold on first you need to take a few precautions. Every RC comes with a instruction manual, which will provide you with exact details of care and so on with that particular RC you now proudly own. You will need to charge the battery for a few hours providing that your RC helicopter is electric. If you own a gas or nitro RC than this is irrelevant. Doing your pre-flight check you will look for loose bolts or hardware or broken parts, along with any packing straps that could be left over. Failure to do a pre-flight check could result in damage to the motor components while using your RC helicopter.

Last key point you should be aware of is the proper storage, handling and maintenance of your RC helicopter. This is a very important key factor because when winter hits most RC helicopters can not be flown, and without proper storage and maintenance could result in costly repairs. The RC should be placed neatly away and out of reach in harms way, if possible in a storage container of some sort. Assuming that you have a electric powered helicopter you will have a lithium polymer battery pack, which is the life line to your machine. To store your electric battery pack as long as it has not been flown more than seventy times, has not reached a temperature of forty five degrees Fahrenheit or has not short circuited, you should make sure that the battery is fully charged to a 4.2 volt charge per cell. You should be able to balance your battery by choosing the balance selection on your batteries charger. After doing this your battery will be safe for two - four months and should be repeated up to and no longer than one year. If not repeated your battery will die and may leave you with buying a new battery pack. If your battery pack has been flown over seventy times, exceeded sixty degrees Fahrenheit and shorts out or has shorted out before you may try to balance the battery cells but the outcome will not be the same. Once the battery has been balanced you should now place the battery in a plastic bag and then placed into a metal or aluminum container to make sure that if the battery shorts out while in storage the potential fire is contained.

These three key factors of flying RC helicopters is very important to ensure that your helicopter provides you with many hours of fun. Without conducting a pre-flight check and reviewing the manual, not practicing flying with the simulator and training gear, or the proper storage of your RC helicopter will result in hard times and possibly a short career in this wonderful world of RC hobbies. You should always take the time to go over everything involved with your RC and cutting corners will prove to be costly.

Few Things to Consider When Purchasing a RC Helicopter

Few Things to Consider When Purchasing a RC Helicopter  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Few-Things-to-Consider-When-Purchasing-a-RC-Helicopter/3899845/,
Article by Kevin Smith
Flying RC helicopter is a fun and relaxing activity enjoyed by millions of people, both young and old. There are several different types of remote control helicopters, ranging from simple, easy to fly models to complex kits that must be assembled. This popular hobby requires various levels of commitment as well. Whether you're looking for some weekend family fun with your rc helicopter or plan to become an experienced, avid pilot, there are a few things to consider before buying your first remote control helicopter.
1. How much time do you want to commit?
Remote control helicopters are available in several different styles and vary greatly in price. Ready to fly (RTF) models are already assembled and complete with all the components. This type can be taken out of the box and played with immediately and is the best choice for beginners. Almost ready to fly (ARF) helicopters are about 90 percent assembled, but still require some building and extra parts. Remote control helicopter kits are also available and require complete assembly, as well as an engine and transmitter.
2. Gas powered or electric?
Both types of RC helicopter have their advantages and disadvantages, so how do you choose which is best for you? Electric helicopters are typically less expensive than gas ones and are much simpler to use. They are the best choice for young pilots, as well as beginners. Electric powered helicopters run on batteries rather than smelly gas, so there are no fumes. Electric motors are also practically silent while operating, so this type of RC helicopter is more versatile and can be used almost anywhere.
Gas powered RC helicopter are messier, more complicates, and much louder than their cheaper electric counterparts, but gas remote control helicopters are usually the preferred type for experienced pilots. They are thought to be more realistic than electric models and give the pilot a chance to be more involved with the aircraft and how it functions. Gas powered helicopters are typically better for frequent use because the tank can simply be refilled rather than having to replace costly batteries or wait hours for a recharge.
3. Where will you fly your RC helicopter?
Remote control helicopters also come in all sizes. If you are looking for a fun and unique helicopter for indoors, there are micro RC helicopter that are so small you can hold them inside your hand. Another option for indoor flying is an electric model. Electric remote control helicopters do not produce any harmful fumes or odors so they are ideal for large, open areas that are enclosed.
If you plan on flying your remote control helicopter outside, you should consider the wind conditions in your area. A larger helicopter will offer more control in windy situations so a mini helicopter may not be the best choice if you will fly in wind often. Helicopters with fixed pitch (FP) blades are recommended for novice pilots because they are less expensive, easier to use, and simpler to repair, but a collective pitch (CP) helicopter is much better for windy conditions.
4. How experienced are you?
If you are new to flying RC helicopter, you may want to begin with a good flight simulator software program designed for RC pilots. Flight instructors are also an option if you are really serious about the hobby. Novice pilots should select an expensive remote control helicopter with easy to access spare parts. It is best to start with a small, electric model because crashes are usually inevitable during the learning process.
Whatever be your choice of your RC helicopter the make sure you take enough of time to learn how to fly it adequately or you might end up crashing it. Each time you crash your helicopter you will end up spending hundreds of dollars.

RC Helicopter Ready to Fly, You Ready to Delight

RC Helicopter Ready to Fly, You Ready to Delight  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/RC-Helicopter-Ready-to-Fly-You-Ready-to-Delight/3457788/,
Article by topons
Needless to say, where there is RC, there is extraordinary excitement and fabulous fun. In light of the sweeping craze for RC fun, especially for the refreshing RTF RC Helicopter fun, RC has developed with flying colors and gained established popularity. The point to note is that by comparison the RTF RC helicopter wins more favor.
You know Ready To Fly RC helicopters, like Lama RC Helicopter, come in many shapes and sizes these days, and it is fair to say that some are more RTF than others. It's a very serious point, because a beginner pilot who is none the wiser could end up having a very nasty experience with a so-called RTF RC helicopter that in fact needs some degree of setting up before flight.
Of course, the term Ready To Fly does refer to the fact that the model, whether helicopter or airplane, doesn't require any assembly work and the motor and radio gear is fully installed and set up at the factory. RTF by definition, therefore, is a very fair description.
But the reality is that many models are sold with the slogan "Flies straight out the box" attached to them, and this is rarely the case. It's not such a critical issue with RTF RC airplanes, but helicopters have spinning blades that can do a lot of damage in inexperienced hands - far more than an airplane propeller can (although these hurt too.).
So, the letters RTF should never be interpreted as "Flies straight out the box" when it comes to RC Helicopter. Maybe a new labeling of 'FSOTB' should be created, just to clarify things.
Good helicopters such as the CX3 (and in particular the Blade mCX) have amassed a huge number of sales globally, contributing greatly to a large influx of new RC pilots into the hobby of radio control flying. The gentle flying characteristics and affordable prices of such RTF RC helicopters have been the two big selling points.
Anyway, whichever type of RTF RC helicopter you choose, you can be certain of one thing - you are entering the most rapidly expanding and exciting sector of the radio control flying hobby - a sector that seems to have a strong future ahead of it, for anyone to enjoy regardless of helicopter-flying experience! Okay, since your RTF RC helicopter has been ready to fly, why not ready to delight?

Learn How to Fly RC Electric Helicopters

Learn How to Fly RC Electric Helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Learn-How-to-Fly-RC-Electric-Helicopters/4409385/,
Article by Darren Pace
Choosing which of the rc electric helicopters to buy is the easy part. Once a person has their helicopter, they have to learn how to fly it. Flying it is the trickier part. A new helicopter owner should never take their rc 'copter out and fly it without knowing what to do. That is just asking for the helicopter to break and someone to get hurt.
There are several things that a person can do to learn how to fly rc helicopters easily and with no risk of damage to the helicopter or the pilot.
Flight simulators. Most people think of flight simulators as a game. But for owners of rc electric helicopters they can be a training and practice tool. Helicopters aren't easy to fly. They have their own particular quirks because of the rotors. A simulator lets the new pilot see all the drastic things that can happen, and learn to avoid them, before it happens to their brand new rc heli. A crash in a simulator hurts no one and doesn't total a new helicopter.
Practice bad conditions. Once the pilot feels comfortable flying around in the simulator during perfect conditions, ramp it up and make the conditions as bad as possible. Add in wind, rain, fly at night, keep the helicopter out of trim, or make them all happen at the same time. It is better to learn how to react to bad conditions in the simulator than it is when flying the real rc helicopters.
Fly the real thing. Once the pilot is comfortable with all flying conditions, it's time to move up to the real thing. But, with training gear, at least at first. The training gear will let the pilot get a feel for how their aircraft flies. The rc electric helicopters will react in the same ways that the simulators do, but each helicopter has its own personality and quirks.
Start small. Flying the real rc electric helicopters after the simulators is a good start, but don't get over confident. Take off the training tools and start with short flights. Watch how the helicopter reacts to every move on the control sticks, and how real world conditions affect it.
Learn precision. When the pilot is completely comfortable with their helicopter and can fly it fairly well, it's time to learn how to be precise. Set up a grid and practice landing the helicopter in one square, changing which square to land in every time. After the pilot can land in that square every time, make it smaller. After that, land on a small spot. Set up an obstacle course to fly around. Zig zag around poles. All these drills may seem time consuming and boring, but once they are done it's time to move on to trick flying.

For the person who has always wanted to fly, but can't, rc electric helicopters are a great way to get some of that feeling. It can take some time to learn how to fly, but these tips can make it easier.

Gas Rc Helicopter Teaches You The Basics!

Gas Rc Helicopter Teaches You The Basics!  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Gas-Rc-Helicopter-Teaches-You-The-Basics/567323/,
Article by Danielle Rivers
Gas RC Helicopter teaches you the basic of the helicopter flying more than any type of RC Helicopter around. Gas RC Helicopter is also much expensive than the electric. And because of these factors serious RC Helicopter pilots consider gas RC Helicopter as their primary choice. Make sure you have set your budget so that you can limit your selection that would make buying easier. Use this information when you choose which type of RC Helicopter to buy.
If you prefer military RC Helicopter. RC Planes are nice in that they're much more relaxing to fly than a RC Helicopter but the coordination you learn from flying RC planes is not so useful when flying RC Helicopters that it warrants buying a whole airplane first. For those who have heard this for the first time you should realize that you only require standard parts from an auto parts and hardware store to create a helicopter (that can really fly).
The O.S..32 SXH runs at a peak power RPM of around 18000 RPM with 1.2 horsepower while the 60 size engines can make 2 to 3 h.p!. Practice in a little more wind... wind really makes a 30 size jump around be on top of it! Practice controlled flight. Try to make the RC Helicopter go exactly where you want it to. Full RC Helicopter guide at http://www.rchelicopterguide.info. Spare parts; The basic formula is the cheaper the helicopter the cheaper the spares and the lighter the helicopter the less crash damage you will incur.
Can you learn to fly on your own RC Helicopter? The answer is yes with enough patients and if you are very careful when putting the RC Helicopter together. I recommend two thing for sure. Turn the rudder trim half way off center so that the heli is doing a complete 360 once every 2 seconds or so. Do not touch the rudder now! Only use the collective. Try and slowly fly around without touching the rudder to do this you need to continually be adjusting the cyclic since the helicopter will always be pointing in different directions. You try it on your own remote control RC Helicopter and find out to your frustration that it is not simple after all.

5 Tips in Flying RC Esky Helicopter

5 Tips in Flying RC Esky Helicopter  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/5-Tips-in-Flying-RC-Esky-Helicopter/5438061/,
Article by Iceman
It is really a great experience to fly an rc helicopter; I'm flying my eSky Big Lama helicopter. Flying an RC eSky helicopter is almost the same as flying the real deal, the controls are very much the same and the procedure is almost very similar, the only difference will be the size and the risk associated with flying a real helicopter where your life is at stake and damages it fatal if you make a mistake. This is actually the primary reason many pilot-to-be prefer to master their skills in flying using a real life flight simulation or flying rc helicopter, like esky Big Lama.
Here are five flying tips for a fun and safety rc helicopter flying:
1. Read carefully and understand the rc helicopter manual. This is primarily the best way to save time, energy and most of all unnecessary cost associated with helicopter crashes due to non consideration of flying factors given and written on the flying manual.
2. Always make sure your batteries are in good working condition and should not fall short of being fully charged before you fly the rc helicopter. Not only this will ensure you have plenty of flying hours to logged, it will also make sure that your helicopter is working in full energy to avoid any sudden shut down, loss communication or malfunction.
3. Learn thoroughly how to use the remote control, normally there are 2 major stick you need to master using, the vertical stick or throttle and the direction / turn stick. Being relaxed and compose in using these sticks will surely tell the outcome of your helicopter flight. Some controls have a 3rd channel that works on controlling the spin your helicopter can do for an easy change of direction.
4. It is all on the way you control the vertical lift or ascend! Learn to stabilize your helicopter once it goes airborne, having it stable at your desired height is the key to a good maneuver around your flying zone. Knowing how to increase altitude when needed and decreasing accordingly to avoid clash to surrounding terrain makes you close to being a professional pilot, rc helicopter pilot.
5. Smooth landing completed your flying skills. Get your helicopter make good and smooth landing on desired point with minimal ground impact. The key to a smooth helicopter landing greatly depend on your vertical throttle control, as you managed to get the helicopter stable in midair using the vertical stick, you will have to land your helicopter by slowly decreasing your altitude and land smoothly with less impact on the ground.
These 5 tips can serve you a long way as you learn to fly rc helicopter. Enjoy flying and keep it safe always.

Rc helicopters are a Super Fun and Rewarding Hobby for All  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Rc-helicopters-are-a-Super-Fun-and-Rewarding-Hobby-for-All/5445964/,

Article by Brian Chung

Why does one take up the hobby of flying rc helicopters? There are two words that come to mind and they is "fun" and "rewarding". These are what after all what we look for in a hobby. People who have been flying rc choppers over the years have seen so many advances in this hobby. What do they say? They say there is simply no better time of getting into the hobby of flying remote controlled helicopters. When compared to other rc airplanes, radio controlled helicopters do not require a large paved on moved runaway but can simply take off vertically in variety of open place area.

On the other hand there are small micro electric indoor rc flights that one is able to fly at home or in the office. There are a wide range of models of rc helicopters available in the market. The remote controlled helis are of every budget and capabilities. Talk of Micro Coaxial, Toy, Gas, Nitro, Scale, Electric and even turbine powered are available. As the technology keeps improving, the cost of remote controlled helis is going down thus making many people to get introduced to this hobby. Today there is a huge information download about remote controlled helicopters that has resulted to a downside effect. Unless one has all the facts and understands some of the technical aspects of the hobby, he/she probably won't be able to choose the best of rc helicopters available in the market.

This can lead to the frustrating, crashing and perhaps in the end giving up on rc helicopters before you even get to experience the thrill and pure joy of the helis. The truth there is also a lot of junk out there that can add up the frustrations. The single rotor collective pitch grade rc flights are the moors complex and most difficult to master. This cannot be true of the new toy mini rc choppers and micro coaxial and micro pitch single rotor rc choppers that have been for flying over the place. The new breeds are the Quadrocopters that have sophisticated electronic stabilizer systems for doing all the work while flying. These are newer forms of rc flights with hassle clean electric power, making them fun and easy fort kids and adults alike to fly them and are the main reason for the growing popularity in the hobby.

Collective pitch single rotor rc helicopters can be challenging. They have complex machines with hundred of parts. On the other hand, the single rotor collective pitch helicopters are unstable when hovering. To hover is like balancing in a big a ball thus the rc chopper is more difficult compared to other remote controlled helis to fly because you are always making controls corrections for it to keep flying. The constant control corrections some might think makes flying not to be fun and rewarding but it is these that connects one to the helicopter like no other rc chopper. Once one masters how to hover the helicopter, he/she will never forget and the control corrections becomes second nature that one doesn't even realize being involved in doing them.

Article by Garrett Combs
For a lot of, flying RC airplanes is as shut as we'll come to realizing the dream of self-controlled flight.

Several years ago, flying RC airplanes was pretty significantly the province of the effectively-to-do and the hugely experienced, and that was even truer for RC helicopters. At this time, with electric powered aircraft, advancements in batteries, spread spectrum frequency manage and design and style innovations advertising stability and reliability, understanding to fly is substantially, very much less difficult than in the previous and you can get everything you will need, already built, for effectively under $one hundred. Feeling a tiny stressed-out? Have to have to get away from it all and have some entertaining? Assume about flying RC airplanes or RC helicopters - it may possibly be just what the health practitioner ordered.

RC helicopters or remote managed helicopters are extremely well-known especially to youthful boys. They have come to be the source of happiness and amusement to some people. It is in truth fun to fly these helicopters given that you will be in a position to think as if you are seriously the pilot who is managing the flying machine. With a two channel you don't have complete manage but it can nonetheless be pleasurable. The rudder will just control the rotation of the entire body of the heli with respect to the blades. This will stability the heli and let for forward motion, or a standard direction transform.

Now with a two channel you commence to detect the helicopter will fly in seemingly random instructions. It's not random at all, but quite precise to the body weight stability of the helicopter and the blade angle. In a four channel you handle this balance with far more control directions as effectively as cautiously managing the fat. On your 2 channel you want to examination out unique weights and positions to uncover the appropriate harmony for the smaller copter. Experiment, this will be great apply before you lift off your 6 channel machine. With the proper setup and practice you will be ready to perform a great hover with your 2 channel at diverse heights. You'll be in a position to descend to a hover and take off to a hover just inches above the ground though keeping the entire body in location with the tail rotor.

Now the only difference involving the two and three channel is the power to transfer it ahead on command.

You can then immediate the helicopter all-around the space and land on selected regions and fly all-around hurdles. That simply just can take a bit of practice to complete but you can understand in one day, granted that you've realized all the essentials of a 2 channel.

A four channel simply just lets you also move backward. Some are bigger, and consequently a lot easier to hover, but are heading to call for outside.

Shifting on to the 6 channel helicopters is a bit distinctive. These are normally a ton greater and involve outdoors for security. The rotors spin rather promptly. The trade-off is really worth it since the acrobatics you can complete with these are remarkable and awe-inspiring.

The sticks on a 6 channel will let you move them in several instructions at once - like a video game controller with joysticks. You can then understand the inverse hover, loops, rolls and all total 3D maneuvering. The only authentic way to discover these is with a simulator absolutely or with plenty of planning by way of practice and a good really feel for the helicopter.

Of every single Radio control crafts on the market, radio control heli might be simply the most difficult to learn. Nonetheless, considering the development as well as the progresses among the modern day's Remote controlled trajectory simulators, the learning contours have actually slipped. Right now, the latest Radio controlled heli-copter aircraft pilots can also seriously smashup as often when they will need up until the time they can in the long run sustain these chopper via a flight. All the same, long-established Remote control heli study principles hasn't suddenly lost your meaning. A number of, companies information on trying to practice into the emulator. Clients that do not appreciate simulators , or perhaps numerous considerations just cannot purchase just one, piloting lessons are expensive. Charge card offers went this no-simulator journey, may be mostly a good idea that you choose rental a skilled pro. But then, employing the increasing popularity relating to much less expensive all electric Remote control helicopters, the retail price well-versed in this particular amateur minimal significantly. So, nearly all newest jet pilots are choosing to find out in order to really fly that includes neither of the 2 your own simulation or even an educator. It doesn't you opt to study how to aviator Remote controlled helis, this post gives typical heli-copter principles will clearly be very helpful.
Lesson 0: First Genuinely feel about Heli-copter Per Land Exercise
First concerns foremost, have your family chopper carefully trimmed along with moving upward prior setting aside time for anything. The majority energy equipment seem to be construct right out using the chest. If your main one requires virtually any arranging, be certain you continue with the tuition for the guide book or perhaps a hire/ask any person professional its accomplished for your situation. Trim are not the blanketed listed here as it is a whole market itself.
Once your entire heli are attached, required clear-cut set of two classes tools to find increased examples. You can in fact create 1 your body the application of 2 four-inch a fishing rod and consequently four baseballs (ping-pong lite flite will conduct correctly). Nevertheless, usually much easier to buy one. For everybody who is being familiar with who have a co-axle ready-to-fly electrical related chopper such as Lama possibly Walkera Fifty four, then instructional supplies may be pointless. By contrast, if you're studying having bigger plus traditional type just like the T-REX, after that along with a instruction outfits is basically important.
Now, you're aviator any heli in my ballet shoes. However, for this purpose first teaching, the goal is to always find out exactly what "feels" love to regulation some. That's why, what you wish full constantly ask about the entire throttle/collective until a new chopper 's just just about to lift up up and running on the other hand incredibly making use of at the air flow as of yet. With all the heli-copter in our half on your platform, fifty percent aiming to raise up along action, rotate all the cyclic curb in the region of discover coupled with get a sense attached to how helicopter may well interact with equally deal with. Achieve this quite a lot of work-time until you have comfortably seen some of the tyre and above all, discover the company.
Lesson A: Are positioned (Pursue Inside)
Once you'll have revised the bottom use, the next task is for hover. Pretty much every helicopter preliminary and consequently instructor will advise you specific of the very most (otherwise just about the most) valuable element of each helicopter flight is almost certainly hovering. Really, it doesn't matter what big a flight journey, available at its a great number of important flat, a fabulous heli voyage begins then winds along with a hover.
For this particular class, ensure that the longest tail is almost certainly referring within closer. Increase those reduce to the condition that chopper is definitely proceeding float similarly as you did in your yard exercises. Than, get the helicopter exactly as steady as you can get it also. Just after getting into that will, have much more throttle/collective. Understand i suggest you resulted in heli sits firmly on to the floor primarily prior to passing it the excess accelerator to increase it the bottom. It will choose this idea easier. Once the helicopter starts to escalator started, it could continually clamber gradually. Have this particular reduce affordable fairly to help you become stable it also about 6 basis.
Next comes down the tough segment. Try to keep the most important heli-copter flying from a see. This could likely turn out to be challenging at the start. Use the you may discovered located on on the crushed training. After you've hovered between Thirty seconds, provide the entire accelerator right down obviously fairly and then the chopper will quickly tiny descend straight to the earth. Usually do not throttle way down too fast along with your family helicopter will come fatal crashes away and also be dented.
Try flying more often than not. In between each are positioned, consider that would effectively and as a consequence just what you did enirely wrong. You will appreciate that every last hover are often more exact as well as more watched in comparison with keep going.
Another very important purpose daily class requires you to typically point the particular end through the helicopter towards you. Don't try to suggest the main chopper with any other way right now because you will quite certain make disoriented. Inclination training courses stomach later on ,.
Once you were happy with flying found at 3 bottom, try out attracting all the helicopter to as much as a great elevation of three in order to 5 little feet. It's appear at first sight scarier but in fact, flying near Three to five arches now is easier as opposed to hanging in 1st toe. Training process before you will be able to float into an completely new experience air travel of an battery power and even the fuel tank, just what equals to a number exceeding Several to make sure you 15 minutes when you're repeating on the simulation.
Each preliminary involves alternative time period to educate yourself this excellent fundamental skills. A number of find it rapidly (at intervals days and nights) and some capture 2 or 3 weeks or else a very long time. Don't be frustrated, don't hurry plus learn and a buy charge. Talk to superb whilst working out, which has feelings for you the length it requires. Won't run signifies this unique wisdom. It is recommended to that you simply learn to are positioned allowing them to exercise very easily.
Lesson C: Uncomplicated Flight
Once you have got modified hanging, the next thing is main directional details. Purchase your heli to help float as is available wiped out the next golfing lessons, that is when go with a dirt and so preliminary your heli-copter there. Then decide on much more see and also do the same task. On the grueling, you ought to hold the heli in a very tail-in put. Keep doing this prior to feel comfortable that exist your new helicopter to partake in to any place you desire whilst it certainly is in an exceedingly tail-in angle.
Lesson A few: Nose-In Hover
After keeping revised hanging as well as typical aeroplane while it's true traveling tail-in, phase two, our own nose-in float, tend to be preferably more difficult. The objective guiding this important a good body weight quite easy; merely are positioned interior had concept 9, but nonetheless , this occassion, are positioned on the bouquet belonging to the helicopter sharp towards you. Of course this sounds clear-cut, a good number of contemporary jet pilots choose this extremely hard just because multitude of of all the buttons come to be reversed. Now, you are going to currently certain on hurtling and as well , believe you can enjoy this fact flying physical inside a high altitude. Want maintain from providing your. Amazingly, instead, get yourself this is what process as a result of hanging from Certain boot, next tiny increasing the altitude to feet since you're well informed and cozy of your now-reversed adjustments. Training physical unless you want to is likely to crush hanging aided by the nasal specific towards you. Generating gained this excellent driving lesson would certainly markedly get more direction perception.
Lesson 10: Sq . as well as Physique Eight Flights
This the last teaching will, no doubt blend the abilities may well have knowledgeable originally from aged help, including, hanging, inclination, coupled with track details. The mixture is perfectly of these skill sets should generate a final flight rc helicopter. Very first desire will be seek to grasp your actual chopper inside of a rectangle-shaped craze. Have you been once the practice without any infidelity, you will find that any rectangular trip are established simply. An additional milestone normally travel inside toy 4 structure. Doing this will show to be more complicated it really is in no way out of reach. As you can alot more toy eights, look closely at holding onto some of the Main an amazing body shape. Have a go at your favorite by no means to veer out plan. Progressively more got, you may want to focus on nowadays plane controls accuracy. Once you have perfected the particular character 9, you have to be can preliminary your family chopper anywhere in the world you wish. Practicing to achieve perfection, but additionally make sure you enjoy the fun; not surprisingly, this is the whole idea of a leisure activity.

Flying RC Helicopters&Best Way To Fly Your RC Helicopter!

Flying RC Helicopters: Best Way To Fly Your RC Helicopter!  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Flying-RC-Helicopters-Best-Way-To-Fly-Your-RC-Helicopter/530020/,
Article by Danielle Rivers
The important thing to remember when learning to fly radio control is that it will take you some time to gain confidence and better your flying skills. You can arrive with a right selection. One of the most thrilling experiences you can have is to fly an aircraft on your own. That is. This is a great starting point to those who would like to take RC Helicopter flying a hobby. Electric radio-controlled helicopter is also quiet. So if you are considerate enough to give your neighbors some peace.
RC Helicopter can cost at around $100 to $500 depending on the type of wood used and how much detail was put to the model. if you are careful. Extremely careful. I put the blade holders on upside down but it seems to fly ok with them that way. When I get some extra money I'll buy new wood blades. RC Helicopters can fly as fast as 80mph and as high as 10000 - 12000 feet.
Gas RC Helicopters are however much cheaper to buy gas for and can stay up longer since the regular 2-stroke model engine gas can cost any where from $13 to $23 depending on the mixture. Practice turning the heli a little bit to the right and left. Get used to the perspective in real life. The sim experience only helps. Practice flying the heli out and back (tail in both ways) Practice a little side to side slow-flying. Full RC Helicopter guide at http://www.rchelicopterguide.info. The Bumblebee RC Helicopter is so small and hard wearing (G10 materials) meaning you will hardly ever have to buy spares reducing your costs!.
I think that the experience building your first RC Helicopter is extremely valuable. Especially after your first crash which will happen. Also. Turn the gyro gain channel on your tx as low as it can go. This will make you control that tail! Practice hovering inverted and flying around inverted. Do not let the helicopter hit you! This is a habit you definitely want to avoid.

Is it Hard to Fly rc Helicopters?

Is it Hard to Fly rc Helicopters?  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Is-it-Hard-to-Fly-rc-Helicopters/5445986/,

Article by Brian Chung

Hobbyists often get asked the question "are rc helicopters hard to fly?" people who fly different type of rc choppers and want to progress to another type will also ask this question. These people want to move over to start flying single rotor collective pitch rc helicopters but are afraid and don't know if they should do it or have the required skills. Just like in most things, skills are learned and anyone can learn how to fly. Changing over to a single rotor collective pitch rc chopper should not be hard as long as one understands some bits about them. The micro coaxial rc choppers have been the breakthrough for many hobbyists and introduced many people to the hobby. This type of remote controlled chopper does fly differently over true single rotor collective pitch bird.

The big problem is when people make a switch thinking they just start flying a single rotor heli and it will be the same as what they used to fly previously on their micro coaxial. A good single rotor collective pitch helicopter coupled with a good computerized radio is able to become a good docile trainer with the right settings. The larger the bird the easier it is to for stability. When learning in low to no wind, the 400/450 size machine is the best bet because of the lower cost involved. A fine line exists between the added stability provided by a larger bird and added fear of crashing e.g. a larger machine due to extra expenses of repair.

The electric 400/450 class of single rotor collective pitch helicopters provides the best overall combination of stability to cost ratio when learning how to fly. The blade 450 is among the least expensive of rc helicopters when it comes to a good computerized radio for it to be set up correctly for learning. Understanding the mechanism of flight of various types of rc helicopters helps a lot in learning how to fly. The micro coaxial rc helis behave like a ball bearing inside a bowl when flying. When flying stops, the heli settle into a good stable hover. Single rotor collective pitch rc helis behave like a ball bearing when flipped upside down.

Single rotor collective pitch rc choppers when flying is basically a balancing act on a domed bubble at high air-pressure. When the cyclic corrections are stopped to keep the flight on top of the air dome, these rc helicopters will begin to drift away and accelerate fast In the same direction. While in a hover, the collective pitch rc heli behaves like a ball bearing sitting outside of a plate. Moving the ball in all directions and stopping it whenever you feel like gives you an idea of what to control single rotor collective pitch rc flights are all about. The thing that is going on while hovering is command input, counter input for stoppage movement and helicopter reaction. There are many other variables one has to deal with. The ball bearing plate control shows cyclic control, not yaw or lift.

How to get started flying RC helicopters

How to get started flying RC helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/How-to-get-started-flying-RC-helicopters/152511/,

Article by Michael Cottier

RC helicopters have become a very common RC toy lately and come in a variety of prices and types. Many problems that beginners face are what type of helicopter to choose, power source for it and whether they want an indoor or outdoor one. With many more options on top of those you can imagine how difficult it is for beginners to take off, literally. First let's talk about the different power sources that a RC model helicopter can have, and which one will best suit you.

If you are a beginner RC helicopter pilot, then the best power source for you is electric. Electrically powered chopper engines are still very fast, but yet still quiet, and can maneuver just as good a full sized fuel powered one! Another main attraction to electric helicopters is the fact that you don't have to deal with messy fuels or with tuning the engine at all. Plus fuel cost money and electricity is much cheaper. If you are a beginner then I definitely recommend that you get an electric powered RC helicopter and then progress your way up to a glow powered one.

Glow engines have been used in RC airplanes for some time now, and have made there way over to helicopters. Glow engines have a simple ignition system that uses a glow plug rather than a spark plug. The glow plug is heated by a battery operated glow starter, and meanwhile the modeler uses a starter to turn the engine over. When fuel enters the combustion chamber, it is ignited by the heated glow plug and the engine starts up.

If you want to seriously get into the RC helicopter hobby, then a glow engine chopper is perfect for realism, building, maintaining and flying! You will be able to personalize your chopper exactly the way you want it, like hover time and rotor speed. Once you get a feel for your helicopter, and have everything adjusted perfectly, your helicopter will fly just the way you want it and not the way some factory decided it should.

The next challenge beginner helicopter pilot's face is learning how to fly their chopper. This is a big problem since a helicopter is the hardest aerial vehicle to fly and having a miniature version of one doesn't make things easier. If you have no helicopter flying experience and you try to fly it, most likely it will crash into the ground. To save yourself frustration you need to learn how to properly put it together and fly it.

I recommend that you read the instruction manual, front to back, before you attempt to put it together and when you actually do, make sure you tighten every bolt and include every screw. One missing screw or loose bolt can throw the whole helicopter off and send it crashing to the ground because it is unbalanced.

Learning how to fly a RC helicopter is a challenge within itself, and could never be fully taught over the internet or through some book. The best way to learn is to get real flying experience with an instructor at first, and then on your own later. You can find an instructor at a local RC airplane and helicopter club. RC airplane clubs are most common and exist in just about every state and country, and since most of them will have experience with planes they most likely will also know how to fly RC model helicopters too.

Flying RC Helicopters

Flying RC Helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Flying-RC-Helicopters/4485781/,

Article by Calwin Lawson

Flying a remote controlled helicopter can be very exciting and at the same time very challenging if your a beginner. A RC helicopter toy can be intimidating to beginners because of their versatility, compared with other vehicles a helicopter can move in any direction and perform 360 degree turns. Performing maneuvers that other vehicles can not accomplish and the freedom to move through the sky without any obstacles is one of the reasons why these RC helicopters are becoming so popular.

Okay so flying a RC Helicopter can take some time to master but you don't have to be intimidated to fly one as there are many types of units for beginners and simulators for you to learn from. But the best way to learn is to take flight. For a beginner I would recommend a Dual-rotor (coaxial rotor) helicopter, Coaxial rotors provide a smother flight stability, these type of RC helicopters don't usually have a tail rotor. Because each coaxial rotor spins in opposite directions the pilot can turn by applying more force to either rotor making it easier to learn to fly. But if you prefer more of a challenge I would try flying a RC helicopter with a single rotor which consists of the main rotor and tail rotor.

These types of remote controlled helicopters are more difficult to fly because you must learn to control both rotors. These rotors work together to provide stability and maneuverability to the RC helicopter, learning to apply the correct force to the main rotor and tail rotor are essential for flying, of course there are other factors that contribute to the stability of your unit such as balancing the blades. I wouldn't recommend piloting one unless you have flight experience as you could damage the helicopter and can cost you time and money on repairs. A RC helicopter simulator is a great way to practice flying without the fear of costly repairs. A simulator can be bought with or without the helicopter toy and usually has the same transmitter in bedded in the control panel used for flight in the real world.

Flying a RC helicopter toy is a great experience and shouldn't be a hassle, learning more about this hobby is rewarding. So don't get intimidated as one of the best ways to learn is to just take flight and experience it for yourself. When flying a helicopter for the first time it's a great idea to start flying lightly and not apply to much force to the control panel to find out how much throttle is needed to hover. After you have mastered your hovering skill you should consider practicing short distance landings, without the proper landings you can damage your RC helicopter. Practicing on simulator is the best way to practice without having to worry about damaging your RC helicopter. Learning to fly your remote controlled helicopter takes time and patience so take it easy and stick with the basics and you'll be a master pilot in no time.

Learning How to Fly Rc Helicopters

Learning How to Fly Rc Helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Learning-How-to-Fly-Rc-Helicopters/5445937/,

Article by Brian Chung

To fly rc helicopters is not that simple as it looks. One may have seen a pilot when he was a newbie and thought flying the remote controlled helicopter is simple. Then, when you try your own remote control helicopter, you find it's frustrating, that it is not simple as it seemed. There are certain factors a newbie is supposed to learn and know before being able to fly rc helicopters up in the air keeping them in control. It can start with the use of the simulator first. Because this is where one's flying tips are learned. You have to use a simulator and familiarize yourself with it before flying the real remote control helicopter. That is when you become familiarized with the characteristic if rc flight.

When one doesn't use a simulator to train how to fly, there are many unexpected things the person is going to encounter. This emphasizes the usefulness of a flight simulator. They can be pretty expensive at 160 to 230 dollars but they save much in parts as well as learning how to fly. A simulator is not a game in the sense that each time you crash, it costs you hundred of dollars. When riding a hundred dollars on it, one would try as much as possible to make sure the flight makes it to the end. As a result you develop good rc helicopters flying habits here. Do not let the helicopter hit you even though it cannot in the simulator but in the real flight, you need to watch out. Remote controlled c helicopters can get a little too far from your location. It may be too hard to see that on a simulator but it's something one has to work on.

The flight simulator helps newbie's train to land rc choppers on the ground well and precise and land it wherever they want to but also pointing any direction that seems appropriate to the riders. The rc helicopters flight should be done with all the trims slightly off centre. The trims can be adjusted at random so one gets used to it. Do it several times. The art of mastery in control of flight comes from moving all sticks like crazy all over the place for the helicopter to be in a precarious position before leveling it out as fast as you can. The wind can be turned up to 10 mph, repeating all of the above.

Flight practice should be done left to right back and forth, then practice flying in and out with no hitting or flying over oneself. One thing way to easy are the auto rotations in CSM, so don't rely on the simulator practice for help in the real rc choppers flight. In order to get the real feel of difficulty flying real flight autorotation, go into any configuration screen that has a "blade drag ratio" and double it. By default it should be at 0.22, now set it to at least 0.44. Experimentation can be done with loops and rolls. After considering all the above mentioned factors in simulation flight, then you are ready to try real rc helicopters.

Basic Tips In Learning How To Fly RC Helicopters

Basic Tips In Learning How To Fly RC Helicopters  , fly rc helicopters, http://goarticles.com/article/Basic-Tips-In-Learning-How-To-Fly-RC-Helicopters/5481167/,

Article by brian chung

RC helicopters are a little bit complicated and can only be flown by someone who has an experience in flying them. It is therefore important for a person to learn how to fly these remote controlled helicopters before their first attempt in order to experience the fun involved in flying them and also in order to avoid crashing. A starter for instance will have to master all the skills involved in flying the helicopter before they can start having fun in flying them and also competing or using them for other fun stuff.

The first way to get started in learning the tips involved in flying RC helicopters is going through its instruction manual. The remote controlled helicopters come with user guides, which have a flying guide which can be quite useful to the beginners in flying these kinds of helicopters. Besides, the user guide will also tell the beginner where all the parts of the helicopter are placed and they can therefore use the manual to learn more about the helicopter before they can start flying them. It is always important to know the various parts of the helicopter so as to troubleshoot the helicopter in case of a problem when using it.

When learning the working of the RC helicopters, the beginner needs to check out if all its parts are in place as per the user manual in order to avoid problems when flying them. In case of loose parts for instance, the helicopter may not fly well and the pilot may not have as much fun, which is why they need to fix all those loose parts before hand. In case of a major problem, an experienced pilot may be called upon to help. Always ensure that the helicopter is in good condition when you try to fly it.

After that, you can start teaching yourself to hover around. Do the hovering as many times as possible so as to master the skill as soon as you want. This is an important skill that needs to be learned first before other flying skills because it forms the basis of all the skills that you will need thereafter in flying the RC helicopters. Not until you are sure that you can hover around properly will you proceed to the more advanced flying skills, which will show that you are now an expert in flying these kinds of helicopters.

The advanced skills in flying RC helicopters will therefore come last. These are the skills that you need in order to be involved in competitions whether you are competing for fun or for a price. A beginner needs to be ready to crash several times because it will not be easy at all to fly these helicopters as a first time pilot.
