BeyBlade Metal Fusion Battle Tops - Top Must-Have Toys

Kids that want Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Tops, (they call them Beys, and the kids are referred to as bey-kids), for Christmas can be hard to buy for if you don't know which ones, or accessories they already have, or which ones they are hoping to add to their collection. Do they want offensive or defensive battle tops? The new taller Tornado or Flame-out tops, or the IR Spin Control ones? Or do they want a new battle arena or stadium? Of course they want the latest, greatest, and hottest new BeyBlades available -- so here are the top three choices picked by the buyers at the 2011 New York Toy Fair.

#1 - Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Tops

The Metal Fusion line of tops is the next-generation of the Metal Battle Tops of 2010, -- new and improved, and introduced especially for the 2011 Christmas shopping season. The concept of these new toys is that they are customizable - they consist of five separate pieces that can be inter-changed to create one-of-a-kind custom battle tops. They are also heavier and larger than the older Metal Battle Tops, so of course they are the must-have choice for dedicated Bey- kids.

There are 20 official Metal Fusion battle tops available, so if it's possible, you might want to try a little subtlety to find out which one the bey-kid on your Christmas list is looking for. If that isn't an option, here are a few of the Metal Fusion beys that are mentioned most frequently as the top must-have tops.

1. Meteo L-drago
2. Galaxy Pegasus
3. Gravity Perseus
4. Hell Kerbecs
5. Rock Leone

#2 - Beyblade Battle Arenas or Stadiums

Battle arenas or stadiums are almost as varied as the battle tops. You can get ones designed to keep the spinning tops in constant contact, battling in the center, or ones that have side kick-out pockets that capture battle tops that are knocked out of the center contact area, and several more with different features that allow for different types of battles.

If you are buying for a new bey-kid, the Metal Fusion Super Vortex Battle Arena is the perfect choice. It is designed for the basic type of Beyblade battles - constant battle action in the center, and it can also be bought as a set that includes two Metal Fusion battle tops that can't be bought separately. (also a good reason a veteran bey-kid would like it - to get those two special issue tops)

Experienced bey-kids might enjoy one of the pocketed battle stadiums, like the Max Stampede or Lightning Force Beystadiums.

#3 - Beyblade Metal Fusion Launchers

Serious Beyblade players need serious accessories, and a neat new hand launcher is one accessory they just have to have. Most Metal Fusion battle tops come with a standard rip-cord launcher, but there are a variety of hand-held launchers that use wind-up or trigger launching mechanisms that can take their bey-play to the next level. A good gift choice for experienced bey-kids.
