Many people collect toy model trains and for a variety of reasons. Some people build them, much like some people build model cars. Other people just love the way that they look and the feeling they get when they find that perfect toy model train set. No matter the reason there is no denying that there has long been a demand for toy model trains and their will likely to continue to be a demand for many years to come.

While toy model trains have been around since the first real train was set on its tracks, it wasn't until many years later that model trains were viewed as a hobby or as a collectibles. There is an importance to model trains that some people do not recognize (they are obviously not collectors), however it exists none the less. Collecting trains has become almost an art form and many people are anxious to get their own collections as well.
