Toy Fair - A First Look At The Top Toys for 2011

The London Toy Fair 2011 is set to break new ground with a record number of exhibitors from across the toy industry brought together under one roof at the prestigious Olympia Grand Hall. There will be a huge variety of toy manufacturers present from major players like LEGO, Hasbro and Spin Master to smaller independent toy companies like Wow Stuff, Bladez Toys, Melissa & Doug and Zappies. They are all vying for the attention of retail buyers and industry specialists alike showcasing their key ranges for the coming year. But the big question is - Which of these new and innovative products will be among the top toys of 2011?


There are a number of toys from several different categories that look as if they will do extremely well in the coming year. A good guide is the products that have been nominated for the best new toys for 2011 awards.


Ben 10 continues to dominate the market in boys toys and the new Ben 10 Ultimate Alien range presents a whole new collection of toys for fans to buy. One of the most popular products is sure to be the Ben 10 Alien Creation Chamber. One of the top girls toys to look out for in the coming months are the Moshi Monsters, a fantastic collectible range that has the added attraction of an online world for girls everywhere to interact with. Moshi Monsters are one of the most talked about toys at this years Toy Fair.


The range of pre-school toys always proves very popular and one of the fastest-growing lines is Ben and Holly, based around the animated kids TV show Ben and Hollys Little Kingdom. The Ben and Holly Magic Wand is a must have for little fairies everywhere and is sure to be among the best selling toys of 2011.


Interactive electronic pet animals are becoming ever-more sophisticated and realistic and some of the new arrivals this year are no exception. Benji My Best Friend from Animagic is a lovely fluffy white puppy who looks and behaves just like a real pup - Benji will be a sure-fire bestseller in 2011.


It is still early days to be predicting the best selling toys when Christmas is 11 months away but the toy market is always moving forward and has produced many success stories in 2010 with loads more to come this year.
